GoalSave ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the GoalSave mobile application (the "App") handles information.

Summary: GoalSave stores your savings goals locally on your device. If ads are enabled, the App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, which may collect identifiers for ad delivery and measurement.

1) Information we collect

a) Information you enter

Goals, amounts, frequency, and progress you record in the App.

This information is stored locally on your device (e.g., via device storage). We do not require you to create an account.

b) Advertising data (AdMob)

If the free version of the App shows ads, we use Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information such as:

Device identifiers (e.g., advertising identifier)
IP address (approximate location derived from IP)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Diagnostic information for ad delivery and fraud prevention

2) How we use information

To provide core functionality: create and track your goals and contributions.
To show advertisements in the free version (if applicable).
To improve stability and performance (e.g., diagnosing crashes or errors).

3) Data storage and retention

Goal data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your goals within the App, and you can uninstall the App to remove local data. Advertising data is handled by Google AdMob under Google’s retention policies.

4) Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the App, such as Google AdMob for ads (if enabled).

5) Purchases (Premium)

If you purchase Premium, transactions are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your full payment details. Apple may provide us with purchase status information to unlock Premium features.

6) Your choices

Ads: Premium removes ads (if offered).
Device settings: You can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in iOS settings.
Delete data: You can remove goals inside the App or uninstall the App.

7) Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8) Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information stored and processed by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
